Partridge Foot Cabin is your gateway in the heart of Black Butte Ranch. Our cabin is set on a private half-acre lot, providing a perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility. Enjoy the views of the surrounding pines through large windows and new skylights that invite warm southern light. A new private hot tub is just off the back deck, adding an extra layer of relaxation to your stay. The cabin’s central location puts you within walking distance of the Glaze Meadow Recreation Center, South Meadow pool, and 18 miles of paved walking and biking paths that showcase the stunning high desert landscape. On-site, you’ll have access to a variety of amenities including swimming pools, hot tubs, a steam room, tennis courts, a spa, and more. Golfers will enjoy two 18-hole courses, Big Meadow and Glaze Meadow, just minutes away, while equestrian lovers can enjoy guided trail rides at the Black Butte Stables. When you’re ready to explore beyond the Ranch, the quaint town of Sisters is about 15 minutes away and the vibrant town of Bend is just a 32-mile drive, offering excellent dining, shopping, and local breweries. In the winter, you can snowshoe or cross-country ski around the resort, or head to Hoodoo Ski Resort, only 20 miles away or to Bachelor mountain for world class downhill skiing and snowboarding. Whether you prefer staying in and enjoying a cozy night by the fire or heading out for a special meal at The Lodge Restaurant, Partridge Foot Cabin offers a memorable retreat for every season. We offer free EV charging with a Tesla universal level 2 charger at the home which allows for both NACS (Tesla) and J1772 (all other EVs) right in the driveway.

Other Details to Note

Motorcycles are not permitted within the ranch or on any of the Black Butte properties. Unfortunately, dogs or other pets are not welcome unless specifically approved by host. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Guest Access

When you arrive, please check in the Black Butte Ranch Welcome center. You'll need the names and ages of all guests staying at Partridge Foot Cabin (RR83) as well as the license plate number of your car. You will be given a code to access the security gate to enter the Ranch. You are no longer required to pay a $9/per person per day fee to access the Ranch, the fee is now included in your rate! You will be sent a unique code for the door lock prior to arrival. There is parking for 2 cars at the cabin and there is included EV charging with a Tesla universal level 2 charger in the driveway which supports NACS (Tesla) and J1772 (all other EVs).

Very nice small cabin in the Black Butte resort. Everything is ready and easy to use. They got tons of supplies so it makes cooking, washing and trashing very easy. There are two cozy spaces from the living room and second floor. Bedrooms are clean and quiet. Overall we recommend this place!

We stayed at Christopher's place for a week in July, and it was well maintained and stocked. It was one of the nicest places at Black Butte we have stayed, and would stay again! Appreciated his good communication. He went above and beyond as a host to make sure what we had what we needed, and to check in frequently. Great location near Glaze Meadow pool. One note: when sleeping in the downstairs bedroom, you can hear people walking above and hear the upstairs bed creaking. But a white noise machine has been provided.

Everything was perfect for our needs! The home is in a great location with lots of nearby activities. Great for children and adults! Our host was very responsive and took care of everything including and early check in and late check out! 10 out of 10!!! Hope to stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay with our family (with young kids). Christopher was very quick and responsive when a few things bubbled up, and we had a blast enjoying all the BBR facilities and coming back to the private hot tub!

A major winter storm prevented some of us (me) from enjoying Chris's place but my daughter who did, loved it (and the hot tub.). She commented that we need to find a date to return so we can all enjoy it. She was able to add on another night when the storm prevented her from getting back to Portland. Chris was very responsible and helpful as we altered our plans in real time. I am so sorry to have missed my time there all but hope I will get another opportunity!

We had a beautiful serene weekend in Black Butte at the end of February. The house was as described, with more than enough room for our family of 3. Everything was clean. The hot tub was a nice indulgence at the end of an active day at Hoodoo. There was plenty of baking equipment so we were able to make dessert a couple of nights. The books, dvds, and board games were a nice source of entertainment. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Beautiful cabin at Black Butte Ranch. We had a great stay. I have stayed in the area before, but this is so far my best experience. Very well equipped cabin-specially the kitchen- , responsive host. We will definitely come back.

Chris was incredibly accommodating to me and my grown children. Now that they are grown adults with busy lives it’s hard to spend time together so it’s great to find a beautiful place like this. It feels like you’re living on the forest. Chris’s house is very comfortable and has a cozy rustic feel. Lots of amenities so we were able to entertain ourselves and cook as well as go out and find restaurants close by. We came in the winter and only stayed a short time so we didn’t try any of the normal outdoor facilities but it’s nice to have so many options close by. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

Christopher’s place was perfect for a short get away for my daughter and I. We enjoyed visiting in front of the fireplace and also in the hot tub which was so nice among the pine trees. He was great at responding to all messages quickly and friendly. We would definitely stay here another time!
